Hey! I'm a designer that enjoys building products. My second #nocode product: www.akseshub.com
My name is Chavez and I'm new to the Makerpad community thanks to #MPC-t30 – although knowing about it for sometime.Β  I'm currently in SF, but from St.Kitts, a tiny Caribbean island.

What’s your background?
I'm a product designer who's been using Webflow since 2015 but only starting getting serious about no-code in 2018 when I launched my first product. My hope is to help solve problems at home through design and no-code tools.

What stage of no-code?
I've launched two products: Shop Express (Oct 2018), Akses ( Aug 2020)
Shop Express is down right now due to complications with Shopify, but working on getting back up on BigCommerce.

What are you working on?
Trying to figure out what I'll be doing for the T30 challenge

Current No-code stack?
Webflow, Zapier, Memberstack, Google Sheets, Glide Apps, BigCommerce

What do I want to learn?
Bubble, Integromat, Adalo, Bildr, VOne, Notion

How can the community help?
I guess by providing feedback and learnings for future projects, but I'm mostly looking forward to getting to know you all and to contribute best I can to any discussion.

Cheers!
Hey Chavez,

Welcome to the community! Great to have you here.

St Kitts is such a beautiful place! Great to see how you've built https://www.akseshub.com for freelancers there! Hope things in SF are going well.Β
Β
Sounds like you've got a lot of experience with e-commerce and marketplaces. Is that the direction you're thinking of going with your t30 challenge project maybe?Β

Look forward to seeing what you make!Β
Thank you Helen.

I thought about doing e-commerce for our existing business on Webflow, but unfortunately Stripe is no longer an option for us and that's the only payment provider Webflow has.

I decided I'll build out a jobs part to Akses for the competition.
Hey Everyone!

I'm new to the community and thought I'd share my first nocode product which was launched last month. I would love any feedback or thoughts you may have.

It is akseshub.com . It's a place for people in St.Kitts to get easy access to people that can provide them a service. The secondary purpose is to help create exposure for the freelancers through social media posts and Facebook ads. St. Kitts is a Caribbean island where I'm from, but I currently reside in SF.

I'm using Webflow, Zapier, Memberstack and G Sheets.

I look forward to your thoughts!

Hey Chavez,

I like the site layout. The grid works well! Do you let people post jobs on that site too?Β

I know a lot of freelancers on there do in-person services so that does need to be more local.Β

But for those that could offer services online - personal trainers, accountants, graphic designers - is there a way you could help them to get more online clients?Β Β
That's actually something I've been thinking about but haven't figured out how to as yet. With so many US companies willing to hire remotely more than ever, I would like to position people with the skills you mentioned as remote workers.

For now I'm going to work on adding the ability for companies to put up job vacancies for the t30 challenge. Hopefully by then more people sign up so I can begin to think about how I can position them to get more online clients both local and foreign.

Thanks for nudging me more on this!
